Mistake

Sheila's POV

"Don't you dare take another step!" I seethed at Dylan, who just smiled at me.

"Stay right there."

"Why... aren't you happy to see me, love?" He asked, taking slow steps towards me regardless.

I looked around, noticing a large, double door in front of us. I would have to run down a small flight of stairs, run past some large, wooden boxes before I'd finally get to the door. There's no way I'll be able to successfully make that run, even though I was desperately feeling the urge to. I mean I was practically standing in front of Dylan, who I grew up together in the orphanage with. We grew up to be in love with each other, planning to end up together. I should go to him, wrap my hands around him and cry to him about how much I've missed him but for some reason, warning bells kept ringing in my head. That old Dylan was definitely gone.
