Missy waited for the maid’s arrival, reeling back to her thoughts as she rehearsed on how she would ask Tyler to please let her visit her school tomorrow.

She doubt her beast of a husband would allow that, she can only hope for positivity after the request.

Missy heard vividly the sound of footsteps approaching the room. She would have guess it’s the maid, but she just went out and the footsteps her ears deciphered likely belongs to the clanking of heels.
