As soon as Nikolai left the office and made his way downstairs, I made my way to the second floor. Even when I was halfway up the stairs I could hear Thor’s frantic barking and the way he whined, it made my shoulders coil tight as an uneasy feeling slipped through me. By the time I reached the half shut door of the little cell, I wasn’t sure what I would find but what I saw, I wasn’t prepared for it.

Erica was on the floor where I had left her, but she wasn’t relaxed or in deep sleep while she was unconscious due to the drûg. Such a great chapter. Let's hope Erica does not want to jump from the cliff either. Antonio is going to end up doing what Gabriel did not, killing slowly their father. The only way to Erica forgiveness is for him to open up and is a hard one. Maybe show her every single bastard who hurt her dead too
