Chapter 23~

SOFIA POV~

Waking up and my body being in an immense pain was not how I imagined my first day back in New York to be like.

I groaned in pain as my neck felt like someone had stabbed it... What the hell happened?, Was I in a fight?... The memory of the incident that took place between Matteo and I rushed back to me immediately. I hissed as I tried getting up from the bed, I must have had a great fall when he pushed me.

When I finally got up from bed, I practically sprinted to the restroom to empty my gut. My baby must be on daddy's side to be torturing me this morning. After spilling out everything, I felt extremely exhausted and lightheaded, my whole body was in pain and now I had no food in my stomach.

I managed to shower and brush my teeth to look a little bit presentable, I didn't want to look like a prisoner though that was the case.

The moment I was done dressing up, there was a knock on the door. It was one of the maids who brought me breakfast.

"Thank you" I said to her while t
