Then, Olivia spoke softly. “Jack, I forgive you.”

Jack gasped, as if the weight of months lifted suddenly. Tears slipped down his cheeks before he could stop them.

Back at the penthouse, Sebastian and Olivia began assembling the crib, arranging the furniture, and organizing all the baby things they had purchased. The nursery gradually transformed from a blank, quiet space into a room filled with soft colors, tiny clothes neatly folded in drawers, and shelves lined with books and toys.“You have a real eye for this,” Sebastian said, watching Olivia carefully place a small lamp on a bedside table. “The colors are perfect, calming, and just right for him.”Olivia smiled. “I wanted it to feel warm, safe, and loved. Like home.”He walked over and wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. “You’ve made it perfect. Just like everything else in our lives.”They laughed softly, teasing each other as they worked. Sebastian’s attention never wavered, making sure she was comfortable, laughing with her, and occasionally brushing a strand of hair from her face.“You know,” Sebastian murmured, leaning across the table to take her hand, “seeing him today, our little boy, it made everything feel so real. He’s ours. And I can’t wait to hold him, watch him grow, and teach him about life, love, and family.”Olivia’s eyes shimmered with tears. “I can’t believe this is happening. We’re really starting a family.”

After dinner, they retired to the bedroom. Sebastian pulled her close, resting his hands on her belly. “Do you feel that?” he asked, his voice soft.“I do,” Olivia murmured, leaning into him. “It’s amazing.”He kissed her forehead, then her temple. “We’re going to be the best parents. Let’s do it.”Sebastian smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “You’re going to see how happy they’ll be.”Sebastian picked up his phone first, dialing his mother, Mrs. Catherine Hart.
