“You heard me.” She looked directly at me, her eyes steady now, “She was brought to the house as a baby by Clara, the woman who acted as Ginny's mother. Clara said that she found Ginny wrapped in clothes and had been taking care of her for a long time. Since Clara could not get pregnant or have a child, Daniel, her husband and your father's driver agreed to keep the child. So they started taking care of the child.”
