I felt like I was living a nightmare.

It was moment I had been dreading ever since my daughter came into the world.

Stephan was standing in front of me and his eyes held a familiar emotion as he glanced at Emma who just called him ‘Dadda’.

“Livy, honey. He is my son’s friend and we’re wondering how Emma always calls him her ‘dad’. He wanted to see her so I called you here.” Mrs. Bobby said.

She was wriggling in my arms to reach him.

“Miss Scott, I think we need to talk.” He spoke in a smooth voice but he didn’t sound pleased.

His expression turned blank when his eyes shifted from Emma to me.

I wasn’t prepared for this. My whole body begun to shake profusely because his face told that he knew something which could change my life forever.

What if he’d ask me about Emma because their resemblance couldn’t be ignored.

“Mrs. Bobby, I am sorry but I think I need to leave for now.” I said and hurriedly turned around to leave.
