Chapter Seventeen

Third Person's POV

Jefferson brought Celina into his room and he decided not to let her get away with his questioning. He wanted for them to stay in one room and live like any other normal married couple. He was tired of avoiding each other when they already knew that they can't do anything about it anymore because they were already married.

When he left he thought and hoped that Celina would get pregnant with his child. But it turned out that she didn't, he thought that it would become his reason to go back and stay with her.

Sometimes he tells himself that he only wanted that because of what he had found about Wendy. He wanted to concentrate on Celina because his ex-girlfriend cheated on her. But the other part of his mind, he defended himself that he was really determined to make things work with her. That's why he chose to break up with Wendy and did not accept her offer of being his mistress. And it was a good thing that he didn't.
