My Heartless Boss

Liana woke up early the next morning and looked at the clock. When she saw what time it was, she jumped out of bed and rushed into the bathroom to take a shower.

After a few minutes, she emerged from the bathroom and quickly got dressed. Without stopping to look at herself in the mirror, she hurried out of the room and down the street. She spotted a cab and flagged it down, giving the driver her destination address.

Some minutes later, she arrived at her destination and got out of the cab, sprinting into the hotel. She pushed open the door and hurried into the kitchen. Lucas was there already, and he nodded at her as she entered. He informed her that Tony had called for her.

Liana felt her heart skip a beat, and her hands began to tremble. "What should I do?" she whispered, her voice shaking.
