Run Nancy!

Sarah's pov

I don't realize what happened in the span of two seconds, but after that, I'm lying on my back, my chest rising and falling, my breath ragged as I feel like lips and tongue caress and tease the crook and nape of my neck, his hand reach up my legs to rummage under my gown.

"Oh… oh God." I find myself moaning and reacting to his touch blindly and unknowingly, and soon my hands start moving on their own and my fingers, holding onto his shoulders, holding onto my sanity as he rips my panty right off me, and left me exposed and so wet, I flushed red, realizing how badly I wanted this stranger.

Earlier...

I could feel my sister breathing down on my neck as I hugged her tightly against the wall, holding back my tears.

The sound of footsteps were getting closer, and I had to put my hand over Nancy's mouth because she wouldn't stop trembling and sobbing and I didn't want those men finding us.

I wouldn't even call them men- they weren't even humans to behind with. The way their eyes shone crimson red in the dark, the way they moved as fast as a jet, their sharp cannines aching to sink their tip into us as they grew out their gums like fangs.

There have been rumors about these creatures roaming about our village since last week, and even though Nancy and I kept a really low profile, they managed to sniff us out and have been chasing us non stop, all night.

My legs were aching, half my elbow have been chopped out by a sinister looking wolf with ruby red for eyes, and my coat was drenched with my blood.

Nancy was untouched except for the small bruises which we both sustained from the bad fall, but she wasn't as badly hurt as I was.

It's not like there weren't many opportunities for her to be attacked and snapped to death by the powerful jaws of those beasts, but after our parents died in the war, I swore to protect the last family I ever had.

And that was what I was going to do.

Nancy gasped, but it was muffled with my hand around her mouth. We both knew they were close and they could for some weird reason, fish us out wherever we managed to hide.

I knew that in no time, they would find us.

"Nancy? Nancy… " I shook her shoulders hard, but she only kept crying and trembling in fear.

I wanted to cry. Fuck, my eyes were already welling up in tears, and I couldn't tell if it was from seeing my 8 year old sister cry like it was the end of the world or the fact that we were going to die and It was all my fault.

"Nancy… " I cleared my throat and tried to act brave as I made her look up at me, our similar freckled faces and cerulean blue eyes staring right at each other.

I was 18, ten years older than her, but it was like looking into a mirror. A much more younger version of myself.

"Look, I will not let those things get close to you or touch you or hurt you. I'd rather give myself away than… "

"No Sarah.. " she starts protesting, and I'm at the verge of bursting into tears, but I dig my fingers into her shoulders and shake her violently.

"It's either this or both of us dies."

"No… " she was crying heavily now, probably confused on what to do. She was torn between running and saving her life or being shredded to pieces, but I knew she was smart enough to know what to decide.

I step back and pick up a stray club lying around, and when I turn, I see that her back is still against the wall of an alley we were hiding in, and she had tears and snort and my blood all over her face.

"I'll hold them off for a while, and while I'm doing that, you'll run and don't look back, do you hear me Nancy?"

She didn't reply and I knew how crazy my sister was. If she didn't assure me right now, she'd do something that will end us both in trouble.

I hear something drop in the distance and clatter noisily on the ground and we both turn to the direction of the sound before I glare at Nancy who was already staring at me with horror in her tear filled eyes.

"I will fight, and you will run. If they kill you Nancy, I will never forgive you."

"Do you think I'll forgive you if you die and leave all alone in this world, Sarah…"

My lips fell apartment in astonishment, but just when I was about to reply, I hear a growl in the distance, and the familiar voice of one of the guys rang out.

"They're hidden in the alley. Get them and don't let them escape again!"

"Nancy run!" With that, I start running towards the sound of footsteps and growl, not waiting for a single word of protest from her.

The first thing I see is a burly looking wolf with its tongue flapping at the side of its mouth, its upper lip pulled sideways into a snarl to reveal sharp cannines for teeth.

I blindly swing at it with the bar, and I smile with a gritted teeth in satisfaction as it hits home and the wolf is sent back flying.

Just when I plan to swing to the left at the wolf coming from behind, something grabs the edge of my bar, and I turn to see a man. It was the same one who was amongst the others that had barged into my home.

He looked hostile and cold, and as he glared down at me, he attempts to grab my other hand, but I kick his groin with all my might and he lets go of the bar which I swing at him with, knocking him to the ground.

"Sarah!" In the deepest part of the alley, I hear Nancy whimper in fear, and my blood runs cold when I realize they had found her.

"Nancy!" I run towards her, but I was cut short by a wolf pouncing on me from the side, and I groan as I fall backwards on the ground, opening my eyes in pain to see the snapping jaws of the beast, accompanied by sharp cannines which reflected in the horror of my eyes.

The bar is right beside me, and as I reach for it while holding back the jaw of the wolf with one hand, Nancy is all I could think about, and in an instant, I grab hold of the bar and slam the handle right into the left eye of the wolf who howls and staggers back, and when I get on my feet, I groan as I swing at it and send it flying back as well.

"Nancy?" I run towards the alley where I had last seen her, but she wasn't there. "Nancy!!!"

I run out the alley again, my chest rising and falling, my breath turning ragged, my grip on the bar tightening.

What I see when I step out of the alley, had my blood running cold in my veins and my hand tightened around the bar.

There was a black minivan, and right Infront of it was my sister, lying limply in the arms of another psychopathic man, a black sackcloth around her head. The other man who I had attacked was standing there with a smug smile on his face, and there were about three wolves standing guard around them, growling at me of which two looked like they wanted to gobble me up instantly and I guessed they were the two I had attacked as well.

I swallowed hard and unknowingly gripped the bar in my grip tighter.
