She started hearing footsteps outside the door and instead of locking the door as Kira had instructed, she walked out of the room. She didn’t want to be inside, she wanted to see what was happening. “Survive! Survive! Survive!” She continued running, fighting the urge to look back and check if the men were closer to her. She had never ran so fast in her entire life. She was out of breath, but she knew if she stopped running now she would be out of breath forever. As Axel entered the compound, the men were perplexed. Where was Rebecca? In as much as they were curious, no one dared to ask. Axel’s steps slowed, but didn’t stop. “Go watch over her.
