"The contract got rejected" Carl bowed as he reported to his boss Nicholas.

Mr.Nicholas eyes turned red instantly. "Why was it rejected?" He asked his secretary and he sighed.

"To my research, someone else got the contract before us with the same presentation and it was said our contract was fabricated." Carl declared, Nicholas went dumbfounded.

"What?? Fabricated? How?" He asked, as he flared up.

"Our works, match each other and I'm afraid we now have a rival."

"What do you mean!? Rival? He or she must really have gut. They have an informat here then." Nicholas ruffled his hair anxiously, he couldn't believe his ears.

Rival? They even got his works before he could submit to his client.

What the heck is going on!

"You can leave " he instructed and Carl raised his head about to say something.

"I said GET OUTT"He yelled agitatedly and he rushed out.

This must not be happening to me now!

He picked up his call and dialed a number. "Your suspicious were right. You can start" He declared, his forehead creased and beads of sweat started to eat him up.

"Knock knock knock"

A tiny knock followed by a hard knock made him jolt back to the present, he cleaned the sweat and the door opened.

"Can you just hear me speak before you enter? What the purpose of you knocking on the door and then entering without you saying anything?" His angry voice filled the air, followed by his friend laughter.

"Who could have angered you this early. Your face looks pale." Carlos strode toward him and stamp his fingers. Nicholas just kept mute with his eyes boiling in anger.

"I'm not in for your stupidity. Why are you here?" He questioned.

"Look who is flaring up. Well, well. Mr. Grovan called for a party and I just had to inform you because you wouldn't even check you phone for once." A smile curved across his face. "Wifey! You should bring her along. Lydia as been the one helping her with her duties and I know she doesn't know about your late out at night."

"Because that none of your business. Lydia is my best friend and Jasmine is a contracted wife that I never for once love. Get this straight, Lydia would always be the best." He stated and Carlos eyes lit up with amusement.

"Oh sweet Lydia. You must cherish her this well. But you're ending the reputation of that lady if you keep doing this. She's your wife even if it isn't by choice, you get to….

"Just, shut up. If you've nothing more to say, can you leave" He said Rhetorically and Carlos snickered.

"Don't be too Aggressive. We will meet at the Gala party. Check your G***l and you would get the address. " Carlos winked at him before walking out of his office.

"Stupid"

He ruffled his hair and picked up his phone again.

I'm being frustrated.

"Go get a dress, we are going out today." He smiled and a giggle followed at the end of the phone.

"Yayyy"

Nicholas ended the call, he stood up and faced the window views.

"I'm going to find you…and I will be the end of you.

The night was cool and a soothing breeze. Jasmine watched as Nicholas left the house before getting into her car.

She wanted to find out where he was going and who he wanted to met. She wouldn't just sit back and watch him move around when he married her.

When the car stopped, she stopped also and saw a beautiful lady getting out from a beautiful apartment.

All of this were pointless to her, she turned her back and drove home in hurt.

She never get to find out why her father married her off to a scumbag like him. Nothing but because of the money, now she's stucked with him forever.

"I should go to my best friends house. Clearing off my head would do.

She turned on the engine and drove to her best friends apartment.

"Jasmine!" Flora called in shock as the door opened revealing their best friend. "Why are you here? This is past 12 and you're still roaming about in the street. It dangerous!" Laurette scolded while jasmine sat down looking exhausted.

"He isn't at home and I'm bored so, I came to sleep over" she announced and the beamed.

"Really? But…why is your face like this?"

She raised her eyebrows and scoffed. "Maybe I shouldn't have tailed him but I followed him up and saw him carry some girl into his car." Jasmine revealed and they gasp.

"What?? He's cheating on you!"

"Oh please, don't make it sound like we are actually married and inlove. He doesn't love me so he's doing what he can."

"And you're here seating? You should be partying. He doesn't acknowledge you as his wife then try make yourself happy. This is a loveless marriage and you guys can't be happy till eternity. I think he should leave you alone! Right to freedom." Flora flared up.

Jasmine inhaled deeply. "Right to freedom huh? I have never heard of that. All I just want to do now, is to get some peaceful sleep." She said softly, she stood up and strode into the room.

"We are sleeping together today, so…let's do the girls night" The two ladies screamed running into the room.

…………Gala party

"I told you not to tag her along, didn't I?" Carlos grinned, looking at the disturb face of Nicholas Damian.

His client had just told him off, saying he brought his best friend again. He felt like hitting the walls and crashing them but it was impossible.

His eyes traced Lydia and saw her having a heated conversation with one of his client.

"What the hell was going on!!"

He strode over to them and a fake smile didn't leave his face.

"Oh, Mr. Nicholas Damian. Your wife to be, she's adorable. Talking about how she tamed someone like you was amusing. I'm interested in you two relationship." The man smiled and his heart went at peace.

A large smile formed across his face. "Maybe she caught my attention in a different way."

Damian winked at her and walked away.

When it comes to her, he had to leave everything for her because she always knows her next words.

"Nicholas, I terminate my contract with you."

His eyes widened in shock.

"What???????"
