The cool breeze brushed against my skin, carrying the scent of the ocean.

I stood by the bow, my fingers wrapped smoothly around the railing as I stared at the faint lights a few miles ahead- an indication that we were about to reach the island.

Warm, strong arms wrapped around my waist from behind, and a man’s scent seeped into my nose.

A smile crossed my lips. I didn’t have to turn to see who was holding me.

His scent, his touch, the feel of his body against mine... I could be blindfolded, but I could still know it’s him.

My husband, Lucas Hart.

I leaned back into him, my hands falling on his.

“A trip to an island, huh? I thought we were going to the club or something,” I said, loving the way it felt to be held in his arms.

I may still have things I needed to achieve, but so far, life was perfect with Lucas by my side.
