6 Heart to heart

I picked up the phone reluctantly. I knew I was being watched by Matt closely but to not pick up in his presence would mean that I was hiding something.

"Meredith why didn't you call me?", he asked me.

"I didn't know you were waiting for my call", I said but I felt myself flustered under his gaze.
