Chapter 10, V for visitors

Serena’s POV

“Jesus!” I woke up to see I had been transferred into a much more spacious room. I couldn't hold my feelings. I wanted to burst out with joy. No wonder I had a much more peaceful night than the last. I mean, this is amazing. Why did the hospital change my room? Bewildered “Wow, this is nice”, I said softly.

“Feeling better”? Mr Vincent said, walking in with a bouquet. Did he do this? I'm sure he did. If he did, then he must have done it as a show-off.

“This was all you”? I needed to be sure.

“Uhm… the hospital thought it'd be best for you. You know, your condition and all”, uh-hmm, that's the best thing you could come up with?

“Mr. Vincent, the room… It's amazing. Thank you”

“Oh, no. You should be thanking the hospital and not me”

“I know it's you, Mr Vincent. Thank you”, he chuckles with a bold smile. “You're welcome”, he replied, gladly.

Just then, Benita entered the room with two cups of coffee in her hands. She sips hers.
