Chapter 39: Back to the Den

Antonio's P.O.V.

I smelt them before I could see them, and Zeus was mad and in a frenzy as he howled in anger, running towards where their scent led. Joseph and Thomas were hot on my tail as we rushed through the wooded area towards my mate and their Luna.

All I wanted to do was to rip Brantley apart, and I would as soon as I saw him. He would face our wrath as my teeth tore through his skin like butter. The thought of savoring the taste of his blood made the hunger of my wolf grow.

As we came into a clearing, I watched the vehicle peel out of the drive, and I didn't hesitate to smash into the vehicle, hoping to throw it off the road. I had to stop them, no matter what. The boys joined me as we rushed after the car.

Thomas was hitting the back end, causing the vehicle to swerve slightly as it sped on further. I was much faster than Thomas and Joseph, but eventually, the car was too fast for me, and I watched it disappear off the dirt road and onto the main highway.
