Giovanni leaned forward in his chair as he waited for Luigi to speak again. He tried to remain calm under the tension, but with every passing second they spent in silence, he got more agitated. Romano rose from his seat and walked out, followed by some of his armed men. They walked quietly out of the building into the cars that were parked outside before driving off.“Get me through to Jack again,” he ordered one of his men who was sitting in front of the car. “The target is sixty-five seconds away from you. Coming from the left.'' The man inside the car was informed through a phone call. He dropped the call and kicked the engine of the car to life. He cocked his gun before checking the time on his stopwatch. He still had some valuables to spare.The headlight of a car shone brightly from the left side of the road and he set his car into motion, ramming into the side of the car. The collision was heavy and sent a spiraling effect on the other car. He walked out with his gun cocked and pointed forward and shot a bullet at the driver of the other car. “How did you know I was being targeted?” Angelo asked for the fifth time since they started talking. Giovanni rushed out of the office and ran to his car. He revved the engine to life and zoomed off. It was a few minutes past six am when his phone began ringing again.“Hello,” he said, as soon as he picked up the call. Giovanni walked into the room in his building where the meeting with the capos was supposed to hold. It was a little room in his building where such meetings were always held. The room was dark, thanks to the black curtains that prevented the brightness of the sun from penetrating inside the room.
