Four months had passed, marking a year since the events unfolded. Throughout those remaining four months, I dedicated myself to preparation and ensuring I was fully equipped to exact my revenge.

My vengeance was not solely directed towards my sister or her husband, but extended to the entire Castillo family. Although I had limited knowledge about the woman who had saved me, I understood her desire for Silvio Castillo's demise, and I had been entrusted with the task of carrying out that mission.

For the first time in my life, I recognized my own beauty, surpassing my previous self. As I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, adorned in a maid's attire, knew I had to get to Silvio no matter what.

"Hey, you shouldn't be doing that. We need to leave before the boss returns," one of the maids whispered urgently. We were currently tidying up the boss's room.

The walls were painted a somber shade of grey, and a grand king-size bed occupied the center of the room. A wardrobe filled with dark dresses stood nearby.

"Hey, do you think the boss has a fascination with mafia-style dresses like these?" I inquired, addressing the maid whose name remained unknown to me.

“Shut up and work, we are left with ten minutes if we are to get out of here alive,” she snapped at me, I rolled my eyes at her as I went back to cleaning the nonexistent dust in the table.

I observed her as hastily scrubbing the floor, and I knew she wanted to be out of here as soon as possible.

Soon her eyes darted towards me as she gestured for us to vacate the room.

Casually, I dropped a broom behind, without her notice. I knew I needed to take the risk to come back here when the boss was around, I was desperate and I was willing to take the risk.

"What time will the boss be home?" I inquired, as we walked out of the room to the corridor.

"A few hours from now, and trust me, you'd want to be gone before he arrives," she warned, her voice tinged with urgency.

"Why are you so afraid of him?" I inquired; my curiosity piqued by her evident fear.

"He shows no regard for the maids, or anyone for that matter, especially his own men. And unfortunately, you might become a target of his anger if you are around him," she admitted, her voice filled with resignation, before vanishing into the servant quarters.

"Why do you continue to endure his mistreatment, along with the others?" I asked, struggling to understand her willingness to tolerate such abuse.

"We have no other option," she confessed, her tone tinged with resignation. "This job is our only source of income, no matter how demeaning it may be. The pay is decent, and no one wants to miss out on that," she muttered, gazing at me with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

“So, what’s your name?” I asked her as we reached the servant quarters.

“Helen,” she responded as she walked into the servant quarters with the tools. I stood back as I looked back the hallway.

This was absolute madness, I realized. I had been stuck here for weeks, unable to catch even a glimpse of the boss. Eve was growing restless, and I completely understood why. She had invested so much in making me stand out, and she couldn't bear it when I acted like a coward.

But now, I had to face my fears. I had to confront the man who always sent shivers down my spine. I hid behind a pillar for what felt like an eternity, until I heard the thunderous sound of footsteps approaching.

And in no time, I knew it was him. He had returned. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I emerged from my hiding spot and made my way towards his room.

My heart pounded in my chest as I got closer. I could see his men, armed with pistols, giving me stern glares.

"Where do you think you're going?" one of the men snapped at me, his voice making me flinch.

“I’m sorry, I left a broom in that room, I need to get it so it wouldn’t anger the boss,” I responded in a small voice as I looked at my feet, while pretending to be shivering in fear.

“Our new aren’t you, you would know maids aren’t allowed in this part of the halls by this time, return to your quarters' ' he snapped at me, and I looked up at him.

“Relax Sam. Let her go though, it’s just a broom she wants to get,” one of the men said as he filed his eyes and I saw that as I meant to step forward.

“The boss will deal with her” the man muttered in a low voice with a small laugh, but I heard it. I took a deep breath as I opened the room and stepped in.

I couldn’t see anyone, and I sighed as I walked toward the location I kept the broom, just as I was about to pick it, the bathroom doors were thrown opens

“What the fuck are you doing in here?” I heard a voice behind me say, a shiver ran down my spine at how beautifully deep the voice was and I turned to look at him.

The first thing I saw was his manhood, and I flinched as his nakedness hits me, before I looked at his face. I was expecting to see an old ugly man who was scared to show his face to the world and his staffs, after all no one knew him and saw his face only his name.

But before me was the most handsome man I had ever seen. He had a scar that ran down his eyes, giving him a rough look, tattoos decorated his body as he stood there glaring at me.

And finally, he had long black hair that fell toward his shoulders, which gave him a handsome look. And then the most unique features were his stormy grey eyes, that seemed to call out to me.

I was speechless for seconds as my eyes widened. He was beautiful, and when he walked toward me, I stood there, as if frozen.

Soon I felt his hand on my neck, as he dragged me toward him.

“I said, what are you doing in here,” he asked roughly snapping me out of my trance and I knew I was fucked.

Without thinking, I scooped her up in my arms and moved as fast as I could toward the house. She was shaking from the cold, and I knew I needed to warm her up before she caught a chill.I placed her on a couch in the pool house just as Richard arrived with a towel, accompanied by an older man.I recognized him as the children's doctor whom I had accommodated here in the mansion in case of emergencies. I stood aside as I took care of her, wrapping her in a towel to stave off the cold.I knew what I neede

Silvio’s POV“What?” I slammed my hands on the table as I glared at Richard, who had just delivered the most devastating news, as if I hadn’t already had the worst day today.“We have to trace the source of the news. It’s quite evident someone is trying to soil Penelope's reputation by pushing everyone against her,” Nicolas said, and I clenched my fists as I stood there.Richard had just informed me that someone was spreading rumors about Penelope, claiming she was sent as a spy and assassin by the Russians to kill me. We weren’t on bad terms with the Russians, and while it was true that in the past they had been trying to bring down and take control of the Italian mafia, they had been unable to do so.Whoever had brought forth this news had to gain some benefit from it.“Eve…” Nicolas started.“It isn’t Eve. Eve has no benefit in turning the mafia against Penelope. The only person who would achieve this is…” I trailed off as Richard took the words out of my mouth.“Matteo,” he said w

Her presence got me so pissed off already and I wasn't ready to deal with this.“Let me go, I don't want any trouble”I said slowly and she smirked at me.“Let you go?, let you go after you walked back in here ,with those roches of yours”she snapped at me and i glared at her, she had no right to call my children a roach.“Don't you dare, my children, aren't roaches , you should watch your mouth”I snapped at ehr, and she slapped me,so fast and I stumbled back.“Those bastards you call kids wouldn't see the light of the day if i had my way, they wouldn't last either, my children are going to be the heirs, and only my kids ,you wouldn't take that away from me by bringing in your bastards”sh

  • Claimed By the Mafian Don   Chapter 100- The craziest plan

Penelope POVWe returned home, or perhaps I should say, Silvio brought us home.I held Silva in my arms; the doctor had informed us that she was okay, and he mentioned that we would need to keep an eye on her, which was perfectly fine by me.I was currently in the room, sitting down by the window and watching the kids play with their toys, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Then there was a knock on the door.wondering who it would be.I stood up and called for the person behind the door to come in, and I gasped as soon as I saw him,Nicolas. He stood there watching me, and I watched him; I didn't know how to react to seeing him, and I suppose I could say the same for him.He walked into the room, and as soon as his eyes fell on the kids, his eyes brightened, and he walked over to me. I didn't know if I could trust him; he had helped me in the past, but with every help he offered, there was a hidden agenda behind his assistance.“Pen…,” he whispered, and I moved back a bit, no

  • Claimed By the Mafian Don   Chapter 99- loving her from afar

Silvio POVThe medications were effective for the children, although Silva remained in critical condition. I felt an overwhelming amount of resentment towards Eve.I observed Penelope as she whined and cried over what had transpired in our lives. seeing our childen laying ther in pains broke her, seh was suffering and i could see that. She denied her actions, and I came to understand that whatever she had done, she had no choice in the matter. Eve was incredibly manipulative and had placed her in a difficult situation. It was astonishing how Penelope had managed to escape, while I had abandoned her. Now, I was experiencing the same feelings she had felt: shame and guilt. I needed an excuse then to rid myself of her, after all, I was not known for my mercy, but i had spared her, i could never hurt the woman i loved even though she had betrayed me.I regretted exposing my children to danger; I had abandoned them when they needed me most. I had married the wrong woman, thinking I could wo

Penelope My children had a virus inside them, the very thought of that terrified me , so much, I couldn’t believe it.I knew it, knew there were higher powers at play. When Silvio returned with them just like that, it confirmed my suspicions. Eve would never have handed them over so easily, not when she knew Silvio would still come after herShe had to find a way to keep him at bay, and she succeeded perfectly. None of this was Silvio's fault,at least not entirely. Maybe his hatred for me blinded him to the need for transparency, but that didn’t excuse keeping something so critical hidden from meI wouldn't know what I would do if something ever happened to my children.Even Luca was upset by the news; I could see how worried he was, and he even snapped at Silvio, which was frightening since we all understood the potential consequences.I remained silent as I tried to wrap my head around what had just happened to me. I couldn’t believe it, no matter how hard I tried; fear gripped me
