Mistress – A tainted identity

Prologue

Sweats was dripping from his forehead, his heart was pounding loudly in his chest out of anxiety and fear, his body was visibly trembling. His grip tightened on the steering wheel making his knuckles white as he took a sharp turn to escape from them who were chasing him but luck was not on his side. Luck abandoned him the moment he entered in his life.

He glanced at the side mirror to find that five black cars were still chasing him with full speed and he could also hear some gunshots.

He didn’t understand how to save himself from them and most importantly how to save her.

He knew what he would do to her once he got hold of her.

He wanted to save her as he had only two hours to save her, after that he will not be able to save her.

He increased the speed of the car.

The road was dark and deserted, there was no trace of any human being except those six cars. Five black car was chasing the white one which was running on the road at insane speed and to catch it, they were also matching its speed.

"Don't forget the boss's orders are that we have to capture him alive so shoot anywhere on the car but not him" he instructed the other man and pointed his gun at the tire of white car but he missed "shit"

He sat his aim again but before he could pull the trigger his phone started ringing and he knew exactly who was calling him.

He turned on Bluetooth and heard a cold, intimidated and dominating voice from the other side which made him shiver "Send me your location."

"Yes boss" line went dead. He quickly shared his live location and shouted at the person in the driver seat “Try to get to his side so I can shoot the tires”

The driver did the same and increased car’s speed so that he could reach next to him but that was a difficult task as it is was easy to match his speed.

"God, I know I am a sinner but please don't punish her for my sins. She is innocent, please save her" he prayed to God in his mind desperately.

He now realized what it mean to be helpless, weak.

Suddenly a bright light hit his eyes making him blind for few second and caused him to close his eyes but when he opened again his eyes widened in fear. His mind shouted in panic “he is here,  I have to save her”

Two cars were parked in front of him in the middle of the road, blocking his path.

He had to save her

He made a sharp turn so that he could escape but his car went on the divider at full speed and he lost his control on it.

The next moment the car was roiling down on the road with his painful screams and crashing sounds of car.

Before he knew what to do, he found himself rolling with the car.

He felt unbearable pain all over his body, with a liquid covering his body. He knew that it was his blood. He heard many different screaming voices. His eyes were getting heavy.

He had no idea what was happening but he could feel that someone was dragging him and throwing him on a hard surface due to which the pieces of glass stuck in his body pierce his body, making him scream in agony.

After all his failed efforts, he half opened his eyes finally and his eyes fell on black boots a few inches from him.

He moved his eyes from his boots to his face and his already severely wounded body shivered at his sight.

He stood here in all his full demonic glory. His aura was screaming dangerous, ruthless, dark and everything that terrified you. his face was devoid of emotions, no mercy, no pity but his eyes held a promise to destroy him and her.

"Fuck, he's lost a lot of blood. If we don't get him to the hospital in time, he'll die." someone said to the man who was looking at a half dead man lying in front of him.

His intense eyes roamed all over his body. There were wounds all over his body in which pieces of glass had stuck, blood was oozing out from everywhere which was forming a pool around him but he could see his slightly open eyes which were staring at him, his eyes held pain, fear and terror.

The same emotions which were once in his eyes, now were in his eyes but they were giving him satisfaction, a sadistic satisfaction.

He bended down to his level when he saw his lips moving, he was mumbling something but his voice was low.

“P……….please l…leave h………..her, s…………she is innocent” hearing this brought a malicious smirk on his face.

“Being her innocent will not save her from me but it will incite me to be mercilessly ruthless on her." his voice held a promise that's meant to be fulfilled.

“please” he pleaded to him as a tear slipped out of his eye which gave other man immense satisfaction but his face suddenly turned hard and his eyes started spitting fire as he seethed darkly "Nothing is free, she too will have to pay the price for your blood flowing in her veins I will make sure she pays for every drop that will haunt you every second. Get ready for your punishment.”

He stood up straight as he threw last glance at him before turning around and ordered them to take him to his hospital but he stopped in his tracks and added “And this is my promise to make you realize how we feel when you beloved is suffering in front of you but you can’t save her. it’s work like a slow poison”

"W…….Who a……are you??" he heard a raspy barely audible voice.

“You sinfully forced redemption” he spoke loudly and whispered under his breath “The spark from your past has now become a raging fire that is going to engulf her.”
