I had been there for a couple of days and the only people I saw were the guard and the girl who brought me food and clothes. I tried asking the guard what they planned on doing with me and who the hell was in charge around here, but he would just shrug and mumble before leaving me locked away in my room again. At night, I could hear whispers in the passages, but I could never make out who it was or what they were saying. I had half expected someone to come in here and interrogate me, but nothing. It was a total communication block and I was slowly losing my mind.
I might not be entirely human anymore, but surely, they could allow me out of this room once in a while. They were feeding me so I couldn’t think that they planned on killing me. Whoever the hell they were. I could smell that they were vampires. I’d learned how to tell the difference thanks to the very short time I pretended to like Nathaniel. Yeah
