Chapter:14: The Meeting!:

The Next morning...

Ivy Haddock walked down the stairs with her eyes glued to her phone as she kept sending and receiving several messages from her clients.

She looked up occasionally to avoid tripping and falling off the stairs.

When she finally came to the living room, she was stunned to see Miranda Quentin all dressed up and ready to go.

“You're so serious about this ambitious of yours, I see!” Ivy Haddock commented and took a seat close to hers.

As soon as she was seated the maids came around with a menu in her hands.

“Miss Haddock, Please make a choice,” Marissa said and handed over the menu to her. Ivy quickly took it without batting an eye. Instead, her gazes were still focused on the phone.

However, she took her eyes off for a second to make her choice.

“A cup of ginger tea and a few steamed buns will do,” She said and return the menu.

Upon taking it back, Marissa went back to have the breakfast prepared.
