Audrey

I woke up in Roman's arms, feeling the warmth of his body against mine. He looked at me with a sleepy smile. "We’re not a real couple, and yet—we look…real, don’t you think?" He commented, getting on my nerves the first thing in the morning.

As the memories of last night came flooding back, a blush appeared up my cheeks. "I slept really well, thank you." I spoke, sarcastically.

Then I buried my head in his chest, inhaling his scent deeply. I slept as a rose and Roman made a good pillow. Maybe he wasn’t that bad after all.

Roman sighed deeply. "We should probably take a shower and head to breakfast.” He said. “The queen has requested to eat with both our families present."

“I see.” I smiled nervously, the thought of breakfast with both extended families frightening me. “Can't we stay like this for a while?"

“You’d risk your relationship with the queen to stay here with me?” Roman smirked proudly. "It's almost like you want me to be your husband."
