I braced myself for Roman's outburst, but all I heard was silence. Opening my eyes, I found him smiling at me. "Just kissed?"

“Y-Yes?” I stuttered, surprised by his reaction. “B-But you should know that I initiated it both times. Dalton hasn’t done anything wrong. In fact, Dalton had stopped it before it could go any further.”
