I had gotten up to take another bath before joining Ceci in the kitchen. She'd later brought the painkillers but when she saw the ones I'd taken on my table, she went back.

Now, I sat in the kitchen and she was telling me some stories about her son while I listened attentively, because in all honesty, her son sounded pretty interesting.

"He was the hottest boy in highschool. The girls in his school would literally ask him to date them for just one week if he wanted to." She explained whilst sitting on a stool across me. I gasped, pulling the cherry lollipop out of my mouth with a pop.

"What? That's so low of them." I said, frowning. I mean, no matter how much I'd craved attention back then, I would never beg a guy to date me because of it, let alone for just a week.

"I know, right? No girl should ever stoop that low for a man. Baby brained or not." Ceci spoke and my mouth fell open again.
