Marcella’s pov

She laughed and walked out the room. Leaving me in a whirlwind thinking of her next move.

It was Halloween morning, I didn’t have anything in mind, no costume thought, my sister had promised to handle all that and the clock was ticking, it was already getting late yet I hadn’t seen her.

I was tensed that morning, If someone had asked me what I wanted to be, I wouldn't have had the slightest clue.

I was standing before my wardrobe, staring blankly at my clothes, when she fin

Lucille’s povThe basement was dimly lit. Then, Chloe stepped forward, draped in a ceremonial red robe and clutching a flickering candle. Beside her, the other disciples stood like shadows in their black robes, finally pulling back their hoods to reveal themselves.“Miss Marcella Solis,” Chloe began, her voice commanding and resonant. “I, Chloe Hammer, welcome you to the Bonners Club. You have demonstrated the kind of potential that sets you apart from the rest. Therefore, I present this candle to you as a formal gesture of our offer."She extended the candle toward Marcella. From where I stood behind her, I couldn't help but smile, seeing how overwhelmed by the surprise. Marcella reached out with a trembling hand and took the candle, her hand darting back and forth like a frightened lamb caught in a snare.“Blow it out," Chloe encouraged, her tone dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Go on." Marcella took a breath and blew out the flame. As the flame died, one of the girls statio

Lucille’s POVEver since that night, the memories have haunted me. I’ve become terrified of being alone, scared to walk alone, to eat alone, to simply exist in the silence. I craved a presence, anyone really, to remind me that I was still loved, that people still cared. To remind it was normal to be once noticed and then ghosted out. People do that, they’re nice to you today and tomorrow they’re distant, it happens. Time evolve, people change.I still couldn’t wrap my head around the way Marcella had acted. I didn’t know what she was plotting, but seeing that man so close to her sparked a flash of hatred I never thought I’d feel toward her. She was so bitter, hurling insults and making wild accusations as if I were the one who had wronged her. My mind was still wrapped in one question, what really made her to act that way? But hours of searching every memory for a fault was useless. I was just lucky Patrick hadn’t picked up on the tension between us. Now she is to be part of us, she’

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 36

Marcella’s povI was trembling so badly I could feel my teeth rattling. I had no idea where my abductors were taking me. They carried me like a piece of cargo, one holding my legs and the others gripping my arms, taking me away in the street. I wondered if passerby didn’t see the way they carried me or maybe my abductors took a detour. Everywhere was so dark, all I could see was darkness, the only thing I could do was plead, hoping I won’t be harmed, but they remained silent till we got to a place. Suddenly, they halted and dropped me onto the floor, my heart dropped with me. I felt like I was going to die, what could they possibly do to me.“Please don’t hurt me…” the words came tumbling out my mouth. I’ll give you anything, anything at all just name it…I could even give you a blank Cheque, we that rich”. But all my pleas fell on deaf ears. I could hear footsteps, whispers, side talks but I couldn’t make out anything of the voices.I didn’t know where I was, my head couldn’t memoriz

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 35

Marcella’s povMorning arrived with a heavy irony. I felt a desperate need for sleep, a craving to quiet the noise in my head. For too long, my mind had been a prisoner to high school memories, but now the present was demanding my full attention. As I lay there, the events of the party replayed in my mind like a shameful film loop. Seeing everything in my mind again, it was clear to me, truly, my emotions had clouded my judgment, I had been reckless, impulsive, and too rash. Then I heard a loud knock on the door. It was Rose. She kept shouting my name from the other end of the door, but I didn't have the energy to utter a single word. I remained anchored to the bed, staring at the window where the morning sun shimmered with an aggressive brightness. I reminded myself of the promise I’d made, to find myself, to forge a new identity. Lucille was meant to be a ghost, a relic of a past that no longer owned me. I wanted a new path, maybe a new lover, maybe no one at all one thing was for

Marcella’s pov “Miss Solis?” He called me. I looked up at the boy standing before me. “You should be home with your family…what are you doing here?” He asked me.I just looked him all over already feeling angry that he was speaking to me from the inside of the house while I stood on the outside like an intruder. “None of your business” I folded my arms in a sassy way. “Ahhh… Lucille told me she made a new friend, I’m surprised it’s you”. He squared his shoulders like a proud being. Patrick Ortega, how I hated the sound of his name, if our families weren’t tied with centuries of business partnership, I wouldn’t want to be seen anywhere close to him, I didn’t hate him, I just despised his aura, he had a way of making people feel insignificant. You couldn’t blame the bastard, his family owned half of Mexico luxury buildings and exotic properties. How else could he reflect his high social status?. But as he mentioned her calling me a friend, I felt calm and nervous happiness

Chapter 33 Marcella’s pov The entire student body was gathered in the event hall, waiting for the principal as the announcement had instructed. I stood confident knowing what was bound to happen. A restless energy filled the room. Murmurs erupted from every corner, and while my friends joined in the speculation, I remained perfectly still. Everyone was debating what could have prompted such a sudden assembly, but I stayed silent, already knowing exactly what was about to happen. My only sadness was that she wasn’t there to share the last laugh with me. Mr. Owen, walked onto the stage, and the room fell into an immediate, heavy silence. “Hello everyone…I’m sure you all must have been surprised with the sudden call but I find it endearing that such issues that threatens peace and tranquility amongst student be addressed to the hearing of all, both the offenders and the victims.
