Chapter 25: The Dark Lord

[Gia’s POV]

After hours of passionate love making with my mates, I laid back against Damen who sat behind me in the middle of our bed and closed my eyes.

I felt Sam and Max laydown next to each side of me, and a blanket pulled up on the four of us, as they tangled their legs with mine and Damen’s.

How did I get outside? I am still wearing the long sleepshirt that Sam put on me tonight. I am outside and it is so cold that I can see my breathe.

Feeling the frost tipped blades of grass under my bare feet, my sight starts to get better. Woods are all around me and the only light is from the moon that tries to penetrate the thick forest around me.

Wrapping my arms around myself to try to find some warmth, I scan the area around me for anything familiar but there is nothing, no path, no sign of a trail, and no lights in the distance.

My pulse quickens in realization that I am lost and have no idea how I got here. Possibilities circle my mind, what if my mates were really using me and dumped
