Chapter 41: A Knock On The Door

[Gia’s POV]

After a relaxing breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and fruit, we decided to spend the day walking around the three beautiful cities. Dante got to make so many new friends.

He loved spending time with the fae children. Some have wings and he became so fascinated with the realization that so many beautiful beings inhabit this Earth as we do.

While the children played tag in one of the parks, I spent time getting to know our amazing neighbors and people. A group of older women showed me how to make pottery with them, we joked and laughed and my first vase turned out so awful, but it was so much fun.

We visited the training grounds and watched the many warriors do hand-to-hand combat. Each of my mates’ warriors learns many martial arts techniques alongside their own special abilities.

I suggested to them that we create a large central training center where the warriors of each city can go to cross-train with different beings. Normally, in the human world, any ideas I would have wou
