Subverting the Villain

"Shit! Why did I have to leave it behind? You forgetful, Adine!"

Cursed Dominik who saw the thin square box of the sandwich container.

The man snatched the box and carried it out of the car. He hurried back to the building, and his main destination now was on the tenth floor.

Meanwhile, Adine, still in front of the sink, felt a movement behind the toilet cubicle wall.

It was quiet, still, with only the sound of water flowing from the sink's faucet.

Adine's heartbeat was pounding, and her hair stood up like a gust of wind was touching her skin.

"How desperate!"

She muttered when she caught a glimpse of a shadow sneaking behind the wall of one of the cubicles.

Adine was still busy washing her hands, taking turns, she intended to buy time for the figure to get bored.

"You know there's glass, but you still have evil intentions!" She muttered back.
