BBRAAKK!!!

The door to the room was thrown wide open as a woman forced it open.

"Rico!!!" the woman shouted in a hoarse voice from chest tightness. She was holding her right hand to her chest.

Her dark glasses were already wet, and tears were streaming down her cheeks. The scene in front of her made her legs weak, her body sluggish to even stand up.

The two people, who were not a legal couple, ignored his arrival. Sighs of pleasure rolled out of their mouths. Filling the room, they sounded very loud.

"Aahh...Rico, it looks like the woman has come," a woman said as she sighed with pleasure beneath a man with brown skin who still seemed to be aggressively pumping his female body.

"Aahh...honey, let it go, take it easy," Rico replied, seeming to enjoy every bit of their game.

Adine stood still, her whole body as if pierced. Her legs were difficult to move. Her chest tightened as if her heart had suddenly stopped.

Adine stared at them with a look of disgust. Unable to bear it any longer, she took a step, albeit a heavy one.

"How could you!" Adine walked over to the bed and pulled the blanket that covered the innocent bodies of the two.

Rico, gasping in shock, immediately got up and grabbed the boxer shorts that were scattered on the floor, then cupped his wife's left cheek.

Meanwhile, the female partner on the bed immediately pulled off the blanket and covered her naked body.

"What a barren woman!" Rico pointed with flashing eyes at his wife's face, which was immediately stamped with five fingers.

Adine was silent and stunned, tears streaming down her face. Her heart was in such pain that she couldn't even utter a single word.

Her head was dizzy and spinning. But she couldn't even pass out. A loud sob came out of her mouth.

She slowly looked up at Rico, her husband. His eyes were still flashing with anger, probably because he hadn't reached his climax yet, but Adine had interrupted him.

"How could you, Rico." Adine's voice stuttered, her breathing ragged.

She looked at the end of the bed, at the woman who had made love to her husband in his room.

"You have a heart, too, Laura!" He said softly. The woman just stared at her sarcastically and looked away with a scowl on her face.

"It's your fault. You can't satisfy your husband!" Laura argued.

"Get out of here!" Rico grabbed Adine's arm roughly, making the slender woman jump.

"I'm your wife!" Adine said with a pleading look on her face.

"You are a useless wife! Barren, stupid and worthless!" Insult after insult rolled out of Rico's foul mouth.

Adine glared at Rico. She held her breath and listened carefully to her husband's words. She couldn't believe that the man she loved so much would betray her.

"I resigned for you!" Adine shook her head violently. "For our happiness."

"Nonsense!" Rico pushed Adine roughly until she fell to the ground.

Rico even kicked his wife's body. More sobs broke out. No! Not because of the physical pain but because Adine's heart had been broken.

Meanwhile, the woman called Laura smiled faintly as she sighed in satisfaction.

"How pathetic of you, Adine," she said with a smile. "Darling, don't be too hard on him." Laura made a face of contrived pity as she looked at Adine sarcastically.

Adine stared at the scene before her, feeling devastated. She had not expected her half-sister and her husband to play behind her back.

Her dark irises stared sharply and disgustedly at the two adulterous couples in front of her.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Suddenly Laura looked down and slapped Adine's face because she didn't accept the stare.

"Laura, get the divorce papers out of my drawer!" Rico ordered. The woman did as he said.

"No, Rico, don't divorce me," Adine said in a pleading tone.

"Why should I keep a useless woman like you?"

Laura handed him the document he had asked for. Rico quickly took the document.

"Sign this! From this moment on, our relationship is over!" The document was thrown in Adine's face. The woman didn't stop sobbing; she just looked in the direction where the document was scattered.

"You idiot! What are you waiting for!" Rico shouted.

Adine picked up the document. Then Rico handed her a pen and forced her to sign.

With trembling hands, Adine took the pen. Her hand felt heavy. In her head were all kinds of urges. She signed with a heavy heart.

"Good!" Rico grabbed the document Ara had signed.

"What a useless woman!" Rico pulled Adine's ponytail to get her to stand up, causing several strands of hair to fall out and Adine to scream in pain.

"It hurts!" screamed Adine, stammering until her head snapped up.

Rico ignored her hysterical screams and continued to pull her hair toward the door. The strong hand jerked Adine's ponytail again.

Then he pushed the woman out until she fell for the second time.

"From this moment on, you are not my wife, and we have nothing to do with each other!" After that, the door was roughly shut.

Adine got up and ran back to the door.

"Rico, open the door! Let me get my stuff!" Adine pleaded as she banged on the door. No matter how long and hard Adine knocked, the door would never open for her again.

The sobs grew louder. Adine didn't know where to go tonight. As she hugged herself, the cold night air assaulted her body, which was only wrapped in a knee-length, short-sleeved dress.

Her long legs didn't know where to go. The apartment complex was deserted. Only the darkness and the muddy streets left puddles from the afternoon rain.

Adine's dark eyes found an empty security post. It was unused. Ignoring the fear of being tired, she took a short run to the spot.

He crouched at the end of the post with minimal light. A loud crunch came from his stomach. Adine rubbed it while biting her lower lip, hoping to stave off the hunger.

Her body began to weaken. The ambush of cold air, plus an empty stomach, made her lean against the wall.

A few moments later, in the middle of her reverie.

"Hey, why are you here?" Someone's female voice startled her.

Adine turned her head to see a woman with red lips, then glanced at the black sedan behind the woman.

The woman had Adine's face and every inch of her body bruised, her hair dishevelled, and bruises on her cheeks and arms. Laudya noticed the violence on the woman's body.

"You look pale; where's your house? I'll take you there," the woman said.

Adine shook her head without answering. She looked at the woman with a wary gaze. It was hard for her to talk much to a stranger.

"I'm Laudya," the woman said, holding out her right hand. Still the same, Adine just stared at her. "Well, it's okay if you're afraid." Laudya withdrew her hand.

"It's cold here and dangerous for women to be alone," Laudya added.

Adine glanced around, silent and still.

"Come with me; if you don't have a place to stay, you can stay with me for a while. As it happens, I also need an employee."

Adine rounded her eyes immediately. She felt a fresh breeze blow through her body.

"Really?" asked Adine innocently and quietly.

"I'm not lying," Laudya replied with a sweet smile.

"Come on, before it gets too late, I already have goosebumps here!" said Laudya as she started walking to her car.

Once inside the car, Laudya's sensual lips revealed a faint smile. The car door opened next to her, and Adine was now sitting on the seat next to her.

"Are you ready?" asked Laudya, breathing a sigh of relief. Adine just smiled and nodded.

The black sedan began to drive through the night in the elite housing complex. Adine didn't even know where the car was taking her.
