Casey's POV
“Woah, chill, Girl,” Noah brushed me off with this light laugh. He seriously didn't care about my fate. If people found out I was that assault victim, I'd probably die from embarrassment. “Don’t joke! I almost died from shock, Noah! Why’d you have to do this? I was so dumb for believing you were actually genuinely helping me!” Noah still had that annoying smirk on his face. Today, I didn't even want to leave the house because yesterday was so overwhelming and chaotic, and now I'm dealing with the aftermath. Why can't I just have a chill day since I moved to this town? “Well, first: I wasn’t the one who did it. Two: I don’t have any idea about the rumors, and three: Didn’t I tell you not to go out alone? Why are you still hanging around that coward Lucas?” Noah’s gaze landed on Lucas, who was actually still waiting for me in front of the building, even though he was a reasonable distance away from where Noah and I were. “Don’t change the subject and don’t deny anything! If it wasn’t you, then who else? You’re the only one who knows what happened!” “What about Becky?” “Who the fuck is Becky?” “He’s the one who harassed you. He’s a Fallen Bike member. He already knows you were with me. Now I’m sure this is what the Fallen Bike’s doing.” My body instantly went limp. Out of all the girls in this town, why me? What am I supposed to do now? “Do I have to move out of Wood Town to get away from all this crap? I don’t even know anything about you and your biker gang rival. Please, Noah. I just want to live peacefully.” Noah stared at me, then leaned in closer, super intense. His hand touched my hair, tucking it behind my ear. “Oops, lemme apologize, but that’s not happening. They already saw you with me. I could’ve just ignored you yesterday, but you would’ve been dead after Becky got what he wanted from you yesterday.” “De-dead?” I was so shocked. “You’re kidding.” “Nah, nah. They’re so brutal. I never joke.” “So you drag me into this dangerous life? What did I ever do to you? We didn’t even know each other before? Why are you making my life like this?” “Can you keep your voice down? You’re gonna be the center of attention.” I looked around, and sure enough, everyone was staring at me. Lucas, who was still waiting, approached us. I really didn't want him to get into trouble because of me. “Casey, is everything okay?” “Woo hoo, you’re playing hero, Lucas, but Casey still wants to talk about a few things with me. Better you go.” Noah controlled everything. “Casey has class soon,” Lucas shot back. “I can’t let her be late.” Noah’s cheeky smile instantly vanished, replaced by a sharp glare at Lucas. I had a bad feeling about this. Noah’s body instinctively moved closer to Lucas. I freaked out. I didn’t want a fight here, especially since I knew if Noah’s dad found out, everything would go to hell. “Lucas, you go to class first. I’ll catch up in a second.” This was the best way to avoid a fight. “Casey, but you might be late…” Lucas was so concerned. “It’s fine. I’ll just finish up with Noah real quick. Go!” Noah’s anger was almost bursting, and luckily, Lucas left pretty fast. I didn’t want to be a spectacle. I grabbed Noah’s hand, pulling him to the side of the building, a quieter spot where we could talk more freely. “That coward’s got his eye on you,” Noah grumbled, still mad. “Let Lucas alone. He just wanted to help me. Now we need to focus on my problem. What are you gonna do after all this?” Noah’s anger faded a bit as his gaze turned serious. “There’s no other way.” “What do you mean? You want me to stay like this and be Fallen Bike’s target?” “You should leave Wood Town.” For a few seconds, I was silent after hearing Noah’s words. I have to leave Wood Town? Oh, no. How am I going to tell my mom? For some reason, I felt like he was so serious, but then everything changed when he burst out laughing. I was confused and annoyed at the same time. “What the hell! Are you messing with me?” Noah kept laughing, even though I was genuinely scared. I was terrified if I really became Fallen Bike’s target, but Noah just thought it was a joke. “You really are a bastard, Noah!” I turned away, moving to step back, but Noah grabbed my hand, pulling me back. I instinctively stumbled, but Noah caught me in his arms. What the hell was this? I didn't really understand Noah's behaviour. "Don't get me wrong. Someone's here," Noah whispered. My eyes widened. My gaze spontaneously scanned in every direction. "Who?" "My dad's goons. We gotta look like we're getting cozy." "What!" Noah suddenly kissed my neck. Instantly, I felt an unexpected, weird sensation. My body tingled. The touch of Noah’s lips on my neck froze me. My heart dropped, like it wanted to jump out of my chest. “No-Noah…” “Your smell…” Noah sniffed me, but it only created another, more uncontrollable sensation. “Interesting.” My mouth unconsciously let out a moan. “Yeah, like that, Casey. You gotta act like you’re making out with me.” “Noah, this is wrong.” “Just for a bit. Until those guys leave, I don’t wanna do this either. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t mean to do this to you.” Noah’s hug tightened. I inhaled his distinctive masculine scent mixed with tobacco. I'd never smelled a guy like this, and it made it easier to identify Noah. My eyes closed instinctively, in sync with Noah's tongue touching my neck. I felt my body convulse. I gripped Noah's denim jacket tightly. What was this feeling? Why didn't I want to run? This was just an act, but why did it feel so real? Noah's lips moved lower. I tilted my head back, letting Noah go further. His hands were still around my waist, his grip firm but not rough. My breathing started to get irregular. There was a strange surge inside me right now. "You're so sensitive, Casey," Noah whispered. But suddenly, he just let go of me. Why? Why did it end? I should've felt relieved, but I actually didn't want it to end. I looked at Noah, my chest heaving. I tried to control my breathing, but it felt like my desire was taking over. Noah touched my cheek more gently. "You are blushing." His gaze was intense, as if searching for something in me. I wrapped my arms around Noah's neck. I didn't know why I was doing this, like there was a magnetic pull I couldn't resist. Our breaths mingled, and so did our deep, intense gazes. "Casey…" Noah held back a little. "I feel hot," I said. "You're horny." I didn't know how to explain it, but I had to do something. I pulled Noah's head closer to mine. My lips landed on Noah's without force. I kissed his lip for a few seconds, then stopped and looked at Noah again. "Are you sure?" Noah said. I nodded without hesitation. Noah pulled me closer, his hands touched my head, pushing me in, and we kissed again. It wasn't just a kiss, but a fiery touch, and I couldn't describe the feeling I was experiencing right now. Something wild inside me just burst out. I must be crazy. Noah was such a pro; his tongue entered my mouth and moved wildly. My heart raced. I'd never felt such an intense kiss with a guy, not even with Anthony. We stopped after a few minutes, staring at each other. He smiled. That smile that usually annoyed me now felt different. "You won't be able to run after you're in, Casey. You gotta know that." "Why would I run?" "Because this is dangerous. I'm a dangerous man, Casey. If I want something about you, you can never escape from me." I didn't care. I wanted to make out again. So we did it again and again. Maybe this was wrong, my mom'd probably curse me, but I wanted to express what I was feeling, even though, honestly, I didn't know what I was feeling right now.Noah's POV I could see the helplessness in Casey's eyes, even though she was trying to play it cool. The guilt was eating her up, and it was making me seriously uncomfortable. I held out my good hand, it was a bit of a struggle, to be honest. The pain was still gnarly, but I hate being pitied. I hate looking weak."You're doing too much," I said, taking the food from her.She just stared at me, waiting for me to take a bite. Her look was soft, but it made me feel super intimidated. So, I dug in. Food isn't a big deal to me. I'm not picky, I just eat to kill the hunger. I put a spoonful in my mouth and started chewing. Suddenly, something just hit me. My eyes went wide as I kept chewing. It had been so long since I'd tasted something like this. Simple home cooking that instantly gave me flashbacks."What's with that face? Is it bad?" Casey sounded curious and worried."Who made this?""My mom. Noah, seriously, what's wrong?""This is amazing," I said. "I haven't had food like this sin
Casey's POVSherly just stood there, even after Noah's words were so harsh."You're so selfish, Noah! You're putting all of us in danger. If your dad finds out about this, it'll mess with Black Hell. James and I have been living a quiet life for a long time. Don't ruin it, Noah!"A quiet life? Seriously? This didn't look like a quiet life at all. What was their definition of quiet?"As long as you don't open your mouth, my dad won't find out.""Don't be ridiculous, Noah. We passed by City Hall. How could your dad not know? You did something completely reckless, Noah..."Sherly's words were cut off by a phone ringing. I checked mine, but no one was calling me. Meanwhile, Noah pulled something out of his pants pocket."Answer it," Noah said, holding out his phone to me."Why me?""There's no way I can answer it. I can't focus. Tell my dad I'm with you."Sherly immediately snatched the phone. "I'll answer it.""Sherly, no! You can't do that!" Noah was panicking.I didn't know what kind o
Casey POV"Enough, Sherly. Don't say unnecessary things!" James snapped at Sherly.Unfortunately, Sherly's words had already gotten into my head, and it made me overthink everything."Casey, go to the room with Noah. Please check on him." James ordered me.I couldn't handle all this. I mean, why was I involved in something I had no clue about?"Tell me what's really going on, James? Who's Becky? Why is Noah like this? Noah told me he got into an accident...""He got into an accident trying to avoid Becky! Becky is the guy who sexually assaulted you. Noah helped you. That whole thing made Fallen Bike openly declare Noah an enemy who needs to be taken down! We haven't been in a fight for a long time. We agreed to a truce. We were in a peaceful state until you showed up and caused a mess!""Sherly!" Noah tried to get up, even though he was struggling. He groaned in pain. I winced, seeing Noah's condition.I rushed over to Noah, holding him so he wouldn't fall."Don't listen to Sherly. Sh
Casey's POV"Huh?" I was speechless after hearing Noah's refusal. "Then what do you want me to do? We can't stay here forever. The library's gonna close!"Noah sighed. I could hear his breathing getting heavier."You can go. I can handle myself."He was still trying to act tough even though he couldn't get up. I looked around, worried someone else would see us. What could I do to get Noah out of here? I walked around the library, looking for something to solve this problem.I couldn't believe why, in a state this bad, Noah wouldn't ask his dad for help. Was their relationship really that messed up? Even if Noah hung with a biker gang, I was sure his dad would still want to help his son.I was stumped because there were still a ton of students in the lobby. I couldn't just carry Noah past all of them. What was I supposed to do? Suddenly, I happened to see a librarian go through a small door that students didn't normally use. It looked like a special alternative door for the staff. I we
Casey's POVI was totally freaking out when I saw Noah. Without even thinking, I rushed over to him. Noah looked up, his eyes kinda dim, but he still managed a smile."It's you," Noah mumbled."What the hell happened to you?" I crouched down, sitting in front of him."Keep it down. You'll get people's attention.""Noah, you're bleeding!""Shhh, I know, and don't panic. I'm fine.""No, no, no. Look at your hand. What happened?""Just a little accident, and yeah, that's how it goes. I was rushing to campus."I didn't know what to say. Seeing Noah like this totally made me panic. Anyone would feel the same way."You need to go to the hospital.""Oh, don't be dramatic, Casey. This is normal.""Normal?" I couldn't wrap my head around Noah's ‘normal’ being his hand covered in blood. "You're hurt.""Can you help me?""I can't drive a motorcycle."Noah just laughed. I wasn't kidding! What was wrong with him? This was not funny at all."I'm not asking you to take me to the hospital. Go to the
Noah's POV"Argh!"I flung off the blanket that was wrapped around me. It was morning, sunlight was creeping through the blinds, and I was still stuck on the same damn thought, Casey and her ghost. The sex we had yesterday totally messed me up. I couldn't focus on anything but her.I heard Sherly talking on the phone with someone, maybe James. Thought she bounced last night, but nah, she crashed here. Whatever, I don't really care if Sherly stays over, long as she doesn't bug me. Sherly and James are the only ones who can crash here, but James ain't into coming around. He says I gotta have a spot no biker gang touches to keep things on the down low from my dad.I got up and walked out. Sherly was already geared up to leave."Heading out?""Oh, you're up. Yeah, James wants me at the bar. Says there's some snags.""Need a ride?"Sherly looked at me, smirking, kinda surprised. "Your concern's making me awkward. So, I heard you mumbling Casey's name all night. Is she really messing with y
