Chapter 36

Erica's POV

"Hmm yummy." I said as I savored the tasty and cold ice cream. Leroi would tear me into pieces if he find out about this little adventure of mine but that was all the more reason for him not to know.

The past few weeks we've come to something like an agreement, or to put it simply a truce. He still hadn't told me anything about his unnatural hatred for rogue but I believed he will one day.

Or maybe not. I eat my ice cream and moaned in delight. The texture was perfect as it melt into my mouth.

Francis had I had gotten along so well during this past week in Leroi absence. The house tend to be boring but Francis keep me well entertained.

Yesterday we played a game of guessing. I had laughed so hard till my eyes burned of years of laughter and my ribs hurt from convulsions of laughter.

Leroi had been the one to dismiss us and send me to bed. But none the less I was happy.

But there's something that keeps nagging me. As if this feeling is just a dream .
