Chapter 52

Erica's POV

The sunlight light streaming in felt like a heavy load of torture and my head felt very heavy as if I was housing a giant inside it.

I toss and turned, wanted to stretch but I stopped when the pain shot through my arm.

I yelped and my eyes snapped open. My eyes met with the white ceiling and I rubbed them.

Am I dreaming? This isn't the ceiling in our room.

I heard the door creaked open and made no effort to move. My neck was cast and my arms were filled with different drips passed through them. Everything hurts like hell.

Not to talk of my very high temperature. I was feeling feverish and cold now.

The heavy footsteps reached my side of the bed and breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of my consciousness.

"Lu. Erica?" I heard a baritone voice beside me

I was tempted to turn to my side, really I was but I couldn't.

My head still felt woozy and my vision was slightly blurred.

The person came to my side (the side of my head) And placed a cool liquid on my lip
