01~ The Beginning.

Delilah rushed out of the classroom as soon as the dismissal bell was rung. Unlike other days, she'd sit and wait for Priscilla to round up with her lectures and together, they'd drive home.

She couldn't wait because she was running out of time. She had to go to the mall to purchase some things which involved buying new stripper panties for tonight's club show.

Angela noticed how hurriedly she had left the class, she's never been this hurried before, not even for other days she goes to her restaurant job. Today seems a bit different and odd.

"Delilah?" She called.

Delilah stopped on her track, turning to look at her. "Yes?"

"Aren't you going to wait a little? We'll be having a girls' meeting against the girls' party tomorrow night." She reminded.

Delilah seems to have forgotten about the girl's night, likewise the meeting.

"I'm sorry, but I won't be able to stay today. I have a lot to do, and I need to be at the restaurant before it turns three. I'll try my best to show up at the party tomorrow."

"Promise?"

"I promise." Delilah wasn't sure if she would make it at the girl's night tomorrow, besides, she's got the clubhouse to attend.

She hurriedly walked to the bus junction five meters away from school, where she boarded a bus which drove her to the shopping mall.

She calmly selected two stripper wears and a long boot which reached to her ankle with a butterfly mask to hide her identity, just in case she mistakenly meets someone she knows.

After she had purchased all those, she headed to the restaurant for her afternoon shift. She quickly changed to her work dress, sneaking into the kitchen, she took a tray of food to serve a customer.

"You're late." Abby whispered with her eyes wide open.

"I know." She whispered back.

"This is the second time." She reminded.

"You don't have to remind me of that, Abby, I was busy with some stuff."

"You said that last time."

Delilah looked at her for a while. "That doesn't mean I'm lying. I went to the shopping mall to buy some new clothes for my kid cousin brother. He's visiting next tomorrow, so I thought I should give him a surprise gift." She lied in a convincing manner.

"Thank your star's boss didn't catch you."

"He won't, trust me."

The day ran painfully slow. Delilah has been staring at the clock after every minute, and it seems like the time has been so slow. Minutes were turning to hours, hours to years.

Abby noticed her constant staring at the clock, she was beginning to wonder why she was checking the time constantly. She decided to ask, "Expecting some one?"

Delilah realized her constant staring at the clock was becoming obvious. She shakes her head, "No really."

"You been staring at that clock for minutes now, is there some thing I should know?"

Abby was her secret keeper, but not for this kind of secret. This was a job she has decided not to tell any one, not even to her closest friend.

"I have an assignment to work on, I desperately need the time to turn eight."

"What assignment?"

"Literature." She replied. "We were asked to summarize the first three chapters of The Prodigal Daughter, and that novel is damn too big like the oxford dictionary."

"Don't worry, I can help you summarize it. I'm a fast reader."

"I know, and thanks for your concern. How am I supposed to defend myself when Mrs Parker calls me out of the class?"

"I'll submit it to you before midnight, then you can read it."

"I might end up sleeping."

"Then chew gum and waste your time watching videos on YouTube."

"Those shits doesn't work for me." She was doing every thing possible to avoid Abby knowing her secrets and learning every thing she had told her since she walked in were all lies. "I'm done with the first chapter, it's just the second and third, I can do."

"If you say so."

Delilah forced herself not to look at the clock, she was gonna follow the day no matter how slow it goes. When it finally turned 7:29pm, Abby told Delilah to go home while she covered her up.

"Tell me you're joking." Delilah said in uttermost disbelief.

"I'm not. You refused to let me help you since you were going to defend it in front of the class, then I guess I should help you complete your day job."

She hugged her, pecking her both cheeks. "Thank you so so much, Abby, I will never forget this."

"Alright. Alright. Get going or the boss catches you."

Delilah rushed to the changing room, changing her work dress to her casual wear. She ran to the junction, waving her hand at a taxi which stopped abruptly before her.

She hopped in, "City Clubhouse."

The driver started the engine, zooming off downtown.

She took off her dress, changing it to her stripper wears. Again, she pulls on her cloth to hide it from the public. They got to the clubhouse, stopping before it.

"How much?" She asked.

"Two dollars."

She pulled out two dollars from her purse, giving it to the driver. She stepped out, walking to the building through the back door.

Mrs Mills just walked out of the building with her phone hung in her right ear. On seeing Delilah, she takes the phone off her ear, hanging the call.

"Was just about to call you." She paused, "You're late."

"I know, and I'm sorry about it. I had to explain to my best friend that I had an assignment, I was able to sneak out because of her help." She explained.

"Then, I think it's time we find you a new apartment." Mrs Mills suggested.

"A new apartment?" She repeated.

"Yes, some where close by."

"Mrs Mills, I really appreciate the offer but… I can't take it. Don't you think it's a little bit suspicious?"

"It will be if only we don't play the card well. I'll disguise myself to be your boss's wife, then I'll convince your parents I'll be offering you a new apartment. What do you think?"

Delilah was speechless. She made no comment.

"Don't worry, we'll talk about this some other time. Come on, they're lots of customers tonight."

Delilah took off her cloth, leaving the stripe bra and panties on. She walked majestically to the club, climbing on the stage to dance. She was so flexible that she could move her body, split and make dirty moves on the bar pole.

While she was dancing, there were lots of eyes staring at her, but there was this very eyes that wasn't just staring at her, he was studying her.
