CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: WHAT I GET

One week later.

"Lock up the shop once it's time," her employer instructed.

Purple nodded and forced a smile. She looked around the heavily stocked grocery store and grimaced. The place was incredibly boring, with nothing lively to feed her eyes.

It was mid-afternoon, the type of afternoon that was enough to make one sweat in the pants, boiling hot and baking.

She released an exerted sigh, wishing time would roll faster so she could get the hell out of here. Of all the places where one could work, her mother had gotten her the job of a salesperson in a place that looked like a barren land.

"Sure Mum, you're the best," she exhaled in sarcasm.

The glass door shifted and opened, forcing Purple to look up in expectation. It was her second customer of the day, at least so she thought.

A young man in his twenties walked in, he had short thick waves, bronze eyes, a sparkling set of teeth, and a strong physique.

He looked hot!

But not hot enough to create a commotion between her thighs.
