Chapter 8) PEARL

"Ms . VALENTINA ! JULIETTE Curtis here" . . . , , Juliette said in her professional tone and Valentina had a bad premonition in her heart.

"Yes , Hello" . . , , Valentina politely spoke and gave her space to enter into the apartment

"What would you like to have ?" ... ... ,, Valentina asked politely 

"Nothing , firstly I'm apologing to disturbing you this late and too without prior notice .  I'm just here to give you the papers of contract . Mr. Curtis needs your signature on it" . . . , , Juliette was professional in her work and address Aaron as Mr . Curtis 

Valentina passed the contract papers to Juliette and Juliette forwarded the papers Aaron had prepared for her to sign . They took it and started reading tbe terms and conditions 

Juliette read it each and every clauses carefully . .

1• After signing the contract , both parties can't interfere with each other's life . Living expenses will be covered independently.

2• Both parties can have their own relationship and have no right to interfere with each other's but bringing home companions is strictly prohibited.

Juliette read the points one by one but one of the point caught her eyes . .

"With the exception of unavoidable circumstances , both parties must not have any physical contact whatsoever and definitely can't have any intimate relations"

Juliette read the clauses carefully again and then burst out laughing . Valentina cleared her throat and asked again , "What are you laughing at?"

Juliette pointed at the third term , "What sort of relations are there intimate relation?"

Valentina softly laughed, "Why is it so impossible?"

Juliette also feels it's unbelievable . A man like his brother with high position as him , Unexpectedly can repeatedly help a person 

"It's just a dream" , Juliette thought 

"Let me tell you . Don't you see he is so Handsome and rich . There's a lot of woman lusting after him but he never has a woman . He is around thirty and always shows his strict face . Just like a warning to another woman like 'Woman Don't approach me' .... ,, Juliette shook her head and spoke and but her few words were like puzzles to Valentina 

"He never had a woman ? Where then did his daughter come from ? ". . , , Valentina thought but didn't asked anything to Juliette

"My brother is a simple man . He adores pearl but Pearl recognise you as her mother . That's why my brother wants you to be her mother for the whole year and in return he will deal with your mother's surgery and all medical expenses" . .... ,, Juliette already informed of the Matter related to Valentina , and her mother 

"Your mother need a lung transplantation ? Right ? He will definitely fulfill all the requirements . Just sign these papers and meet Pearl . She is starting to create a fuss over you" ..... ,, Juliette calmly said to her 

"Mother for one year is too much for me . I'm not ready to be a mother . Talk to your brother to find another way to handle his daughter" ..... ,, Valentina bluntly spoke and stood up from the seat

Juliette nodded her head and walked out of the apartment . .

Da . Da . . Ma Ma . . Ma Ma" . . , , Pearl was muttering these words continuously 

Hearing her calling Valentina Ma Ma , something burnt inside of him but at other side , it was a soothing feeling as well 

Aaron picked out his phone and dialled David's number . It got connected but what Aaron received was not pleasant to hear 

"Jeff ! I'm unable to find anything about Valentina" "I need some more time"..... ,, David spoke and Aaron scrunched his eyes 

Aaron's voice was thick and dangerously low,  "Why it's difficult to find out about her ?"

David rubbed his temple and spoke "It's like she was not existing in this world or hidden somewhere else"

"What about her mother ?" . . . , , Aaron asked as he knew Valentina had only one family member that was her mother who was suffering from lung cancer

"Nothing more about her as well . Just her mother is seriously ill and need lungs transplantation and Valentina is working hard in arranging the best doctors to operate her mother" .... ,, David stared at the file name "Valentina" and spoke to him 

"Jeff ! In a week , I'll give you information about her but I want something in return" . . . , , David knew he was playing with Satan but still he threw a blind arrow in the air 

"What's it ?" . . , , Aaron asked in Complete business tone 

"I want Either Pearl because she is the daughter of my dead sister Or , July. Because I am planning to settle down so July will be good . Choice is yours and I'll wait for your response" . . , , David's words enraged his inner Satan to slashed his fleshes apart 

"Pearl is my life and July is no lesser than her . Don't forget David , I'm capable of dig out anything that I want . It's useless to make a deal with SATAN" . . . . , , Aaron lost his calmness and spoke grittedly , threatenedly to him 

"You are not sounding like my brother anymore . When you wanted to marry my sister . I gave her hands happily to you but now I want July then you are showing me your satanic ways huh ?" .... ,, David spoke , there was hidden sadness in his tone 

"Because July is not Amy . July don't like you and you don't like her as well . She is still in her broken world . If you want to settle down then search someone else per your need , wish , and requirements  . .  , , Aaron wouldn't make a bet on either of them 

"Then what are you planning to do with the information of Valentina ?" .... ,, David wasn't liking the way , Aaron wanted to know about Valentina's past and her weakness

"It's my business" ... ,, Aaron growled stubbornly at him 

"Pearl is my one and only niece and I don't want her to see or face any Cruelity" .... ,, David said and his words made Aaron to freeze at the moment

"Trust me . . Good bye" . . . , , Aaron cut the call and his eyes were on Pearl who was quietly watching the T. V

Boss ! There's an important meeting with the CEO of Black Corporation in half an hour . . . , , Abeer , Aaron's secretary notify him . Aaron nodded his head but continued to stared at little Pearl 

Beep sound of message tone came and he checked the inbox . He opened the text message and clenched his jaw tightly

"Deal is off . Not signing the contract"

Juliette send him a message , notifying about today's meeting . Valentina called off the deal and wasn't ready to sign the papers 

"Hermosa ! Be ready to see my hidden Satanic face " . . , , Aaron fisted his hands and growled lowly at her declination to sign the contract

"Ma . Ma" . . , , Pearl watched Valentine's advertisement and again called her Ma . Ma which snatched the peace from Aaron's heart.
