Ella opened her eyes to see the blur image of the chief of maids looking at her. She wondered if she had died and was seeing this.
When her eyes finally opened brightly, she saw the chief of maids by her side. She sat down on the bed instead of lieing down. She wondered what happened because the last thing she remembered was Stella being shot by the Death lord and...."You..." She collapsed after that.
She did not die, she looked at her body to see if there were any bullets in them or any injury but she realised she was fine.
"You are finally awake, you suddenly collapsed," The chief of maids said. Ella wondered if she was spared because she collapsed or the Death lord was waiting for her to wake up before he finally kills her.
She began to cry, it was really the end of her. She wished she never came to Narlands, maybe just then she would have survived.
