Vacation?

I stared at Robert in surprise. Mom smiled for a minute and then, continued from where her husband left off.

“You know, everyone has been stressed for some time now.” she paused, glancing at the three of us.

“Charlyn’s exhibition took almost a month, Lucian has been drowning himself in work, and Ezran and Jeanne, you’ve been dealing with school work. I suggested to Robert that we go on a week-long vacation in our private villa in the Maldives.”

Since the 7th of this month, I've been having a chronic ear infection that required me to undergo syringing. After the syringing, I started having multiple complications and situations that required me to go back and forth to the hospital. Thankfully, I've completed most of my IV and IM injections, but I'm still taking medications to ease the pain and discharge. I'm seventy percent perfect and just need a little time to recuperate.I'll return to writing on the 1st of November and maintain a steady update of the book.
