Gunshots echoed outside the room and a man whispered something they couldn't hear to Chloe. She madly looked at Dianne before storming out of the room. The room was filling up faster but not that fast, it'll probably let them escape within an hour if they can find a way. Dianne looked around the room before smirking and pulling out her gun. At every corner of the room, there's a camera. Of course, she wouldn't waste bullets so she used the back of the gun to smash all of them. Idiotic men didn't even bother taking her weapons. She went to every corner and when she had smashed all the eyes on them, she looked at Silvester who's a hopeless statue. She sighed before approaching him. "Are you just going to let yourself drown?" she asked and he didn't utter a word. This is useless, she's not going to be able to make him help. His whole mission to seek revenge on the person that killed his wife is now… pointless. Dianne backed away to one side before pointing her gun at the glass wall.
They were both frozen for a moment while staring at Dianne's cold and wet body. Everything around them seemed to turn dark, they were too stunned to see her lifeless body. They breathed heavily as they heard gunshots and explosions around them but they couldn't move an inch. "Time of death…" Kronos, who was a doctor, looked at his watch before looking back at Dianne. "Six forty-nine in the morning." He uttered before lowering his head. Silvester shook his head profusely before running towards them and pushing his brother away. He started giving her chest compressions before giving her two rescue breaths. He continued this before his brother stopped him. "It's no use," Kronos uttered but he couldn't accept it and continued giving her compressions. He tried and tried as the realization of her death crept into him. Tears formed in his eyes before stopping and taking deep breaths while looking at her. Her red-dyed hair is the most colorful part of her body as everything else turned pal
"Move," Dianne uttered while a gun was pointed at Chloe's head. She just arrived and saw the two talking but didn't hear the conversation. "Oh, you're alive," Chloe said before chuckling and wrapping her hand around Silvester's neck. "Let him go or I will shoot. Just like before," she uttered before her steps were light as a feather while walking towards the two. Chloe seemed unfazed by this and only looked at Silvester sweetly. "Why don't you tell her, darling?" she said with a manic grin. Silvester didn't move, didn't even face Dianne. "Get out of here," he uttered, which took her back. "Silvester–" She was cut off. "Just go, Dianne. This place will blow up in not more than 20 minutes. You need to leave now," he warned her but she was utterly confused by this. Is he picking sides now? Chloe's side? "How about you?" she asked in worry but he shook his head."Save yourself." He clenched his jaw, still close to Chloe as their bodies are right next to one another. She was holding
"You're seriously letting him go?" Harrison asked while looking closely at the CCTV camera, scanning every move that the man makes. "You're watching his steps and so are the guards," she said before munching on some nuggets that she ordered someone to buy for her. She wanted to start a meeting but if there's a traitor among them, it's better to lay low. He grew frustrated because of her choice but she seemed unbothered. After eating her food, she walked down the wooden walls and everyone stopped and greeted her. She was smiling face to face but was keeping track of everyone and where they will go. The search for the traitor was only known by a few. She made sure to tell the people she trusts about the issue but she needed more men. She hand-picked more members before the mission began. The mission consists of two things. The first one was to find who was the traitor, and the second was to find where Silvester was taken to. She trusts that he is alive and that Chloe is not going to
RAE clenched his jaw, feeling like he had just come face to face with the devil. He looked around the room before his eyes landed back on Kronos who was sitting there with a menacing aura and grin. He was like medusa, one look at him and you'll turn into stone. He stepped back while still eyeing him. "Where is she?" he asked and received silence. He was about to leave the room but it automatically shuts in front of his face. He cursed under his breath before trying to unlock it but was unsuccessful. He turned back around and found Kronos towering over him, only inches away. "Who sent you here? Did Chloe send you? Why would you betray us?" Before Rae could escape him, he suddenly grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up. He struggled to breathe but can still utter his answer. "The elites are sick, and so are you," he managed to whisper. "You're really here to side with Dianne?!" Kronos slammed him against the door. His face was turning pale as oxygen was running low. "Answer me!" K
SILVESTER was confused by everything that had happened. He's been through a lot of things and is now 11,310 km away from home. He feels sick to the stomach, worried about what might happen to Dianne. He misses her very much. "Here," the woman uttered and he looked up and saw her holding clothes. "It's not much but you can wear that," she uttered and he nodded his head."Do you know how I can leave this place?" He grabbed the cleaned clothes and bowed his head. She sighed before pointing at the window. He looked outside and saw a river. "You'll need to ride a boat for a few hours before riding an airplane to Manila," she explained. He's not that good at geography but he believes that Manila is the capital of the Philippines. He doesn't even have an identification card or passport so he has no idea how to get back. He sighed in exhaustion before putting on the clothes given to him. It was simple pants and a shirt that he gladly took since he was soaking wet from the rain last night.
CHLOE threw the glass of wine she was holding and screamed, "Where is he?!" She had a gut feeling something was wrong so instead of heading straight to the airport, she came running to this village. Her gut was right, Silvester was being mischievous and stubborn. A man in a black suit bowed. "Ms. Eva is on her way to fetch him." This is driving her nuts. She clenched her fist before exhaling deeply. Things have been hectic, and if the syndicate gets here in time, it'll be inconvenient. She doesn't know what they're planning or doing, but she knows they won't sit back and not do anything about the situation. What can she do to stop all this…? "How can someone get amnesia?" she asked herself before looking around the sky. On second thought, that would also be inconvenient and might accidentally get the person killed. ON THE flowing river, he was struggling to keep the boat afloat as the water was too strong for it to handle. The night sky was darker than earlier so he was having tr
DIANNE was sleeping on the plane and she was shivering from the cold. Kronos noticed her state and walked around their private plane. The stewardess approached him and asked if he needed anything. "Ah… can I have a blanket? My fiancee is cold." He pointed at Dianne who was shivering while asleep. The woman smiled before nodding her head and bowing. She went to get a blanket and gave it to him. He thanked her before walking to Dianne and wrapping her with it. He sighed before sitting down next to her. "What's so special about my brother, hmm?" he whispered while examining her features. She has been stressed for some time and he can see noticeable eye bags under her eyes that are covered by her concealer. He lifted his hand and rubbed them against each other before he held her hand. "I… I'm always here for you," he whispered before moving away the hair blocking her pretty face. "No matter what," he added with a smile before repeating to rub his hands together before holding hers. H
