18. Ghost of the past

"He is dead." Ezra muttered as the man turned a pale blue in front of their eyes. His mouth frothed at the side and then he was done. "Must be poison. Edward loves his poison." Ezra said with a scowl in his face as his eyed glowed. "That bastard... he is sick."

"Yes." Adrian said with a frown. "Sick... and there is no cure for his sickness."

It was as if all of it was planned to the last minute details. With no margin for errors. Edward was sick, but he was also smart.

The timing was impeccable, perfect. Trust Edward to always bring the drama to his violence. Edward was all about theatricals, just as he was about his destitute desires and evilness.

"He is going to regret coming back to Astoria." Adrian growled deeply.

Adrian wanted to tear the whole place apart, but he knew it was stupid, and stupid things, he never did.

'I hate him.' Adiran thought as he looked at the man lying on the cold floor.
