36. Almost Got Her.

Maddox reached England, his homeland. Many flashbacks of memories came across his mind.

He was born in this country. The town he used to live in was Richmond.

"It feels like home, Conrard..." he spoke taking a deep breath.

"May you find your heart in your own home..." answered the bodyguard.

They went to his old house where the Dasher family lived for years, where all of them grew up.

He ambled through the narrow lane between several fleets of bungalows and chalets on either side cemented with an uneven stretch of glossy, varnished cobblestones. He was visiting his old family mansion after seven years and still the vicinity seemed untouched by the usual hustle and bustle of the huge, polluted, metropolitan cities. The white stucco bungalows on his sides were tinted with peeling lemon coloured paint at the corners. Several blotches and stains of coffee and brown coloured sludge were splattered over the walls.
