The Funeral

Carmen stood in a large crowd of people who were waiting to get inside the command center to attend her funeral. She had been waiting in line for over an hour and was getting highly impatient. She had gone to extreme measures to conceal her true identity. She wore leather pants, a white blouse and a leather jacket with a hood attached. She wasn't sure who she was hiding from being she still had no idea what her husband and daughter looked like. Carmen figured that her daughter probably looked like her so it wouldn't be too hard to spot her. Her husband on the other hand, it would probably be more difficult to spot him.

"Remember the man from your dream Alicia."

Carmen heard the voice and closed her eyes and pictured the man in her dream at her wedding. Brown skinned, muscular, deep reserved voice and that smile. She couldn't get his smile out of her mind. If the man from her dream was indeed her husband than she could see why she had fallen
