“It’s quite simple the CEO personally promoted Mr. John Frits as Director of Finance this morning at the meeting. Haven’t you received the memo on your computer? Where have you been all morning?” Susan asked, looking at the supervisor.

Indeed, he hadn’t been at his computer all morning. He had been flirting with the sexy accountant in the corner of the room. Everyone knew he had been trying to get her to date him but was always turned down. He was trying this morning to woo her with large sums of money that he and the director would be getting at the end of the day, and she finally agreed when John arrived.

“Sorry, Miss Writtle. I have been absent from my desk this morning tending to some affairs of the accountants and was unable to see the memo.” The supervisor said with sweat rolling his brow, feeling looming doom in his heart.
