She had brought large chunks of raw meat for him, using them to lure him out of the circle.

He was hungry and had a preference the raw meat, so it wasn't too difficult for her to get hold of him.

Finally eating the last chunk, he satisfied his hunger before she made her demand in exchange for his freedom.

"What do you want?" he asked, licking his fingers.

"I want your child!" she demanded.

He agreed, but he also had a condition. "Give me anything my brother desires. I want to possess everything he wants, but before him!" He had grown to despise his brother.

This was always the purpose of the ritual - to free him and offer something his brother desired, in exchange for granting any wish.

Afterward, the havoc he unleashed upon the earth was unlike anything they had ever witnessed.

Blood flowed through every alley, houses burned to the ground, and he preyed upon innocent children.

He took their women, violated them, and then killed them, forcing their husbands to watch.

Before Victoria could protest, Chen reached out and gently pinched her nose between his fingers, shaking her head ever so slightly. “See? Just like this.” He chuckled, his laughter light and infectious. A helpless smile crept onto Victoria’s face as she wiped her lingering tears. For a moment, the weight of everything felt a little less crushing. “Just know,” Chen said, his tone softening once more, “I’m here for you. Always. If you need me.” He turned to leave, his movements slow and deliberate, as though giving her the space to stop him if she wanted to. “I don’t want that,” Victoria’s voice broke through the stillness, stopping Chen in his tracks. He froze, his back still turned to her. Slowly, he turned his head, his brows furrowing in confusion. “Excuse me... what?” Victoria took a shaky breath, summoning her courage as she turned to face him fully. “I don’t want to end our relationship,” she said, her voice steady despite the storm of emotions swirling within her. • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   A moment so precious

"Now we just have to find a way to kill him!" she chirped, her joy almost sincere as she held out the *Tome of Deeds,*. “We’ll handle it first thing in the morning,” Hennia declared, stretching her arms high above her head before collapsing onto the ground. Her exhaustion was visible, and soon enough, she stopped even pretending to move.Truthfully, I wasn’t doing any better either. My body felt heavy, my mind foggy with fatigue. The group collectively surrendered to sleep, the weight of the day pulling us under like an irresistible tide. But as the camp descended into silence, a faint sound stirred Chen awake. Muffled sobs pierced through the stillness. His brows furrowed as he squinted in the dim moonlight, his senses sharpening. Slowly, he propped himself up and scanned the shadows. It didn’t take long for him to realize the source of the soft weeping: Victoria. She sat hunched, her back to him, but her trembling shoulders betrayed her unease. Quietly, Chen got to his feet, his m

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   Ghost of The Past

"It’s because," he murmured, his voice soft yet cutting, "the hare underestimated the turtle. She believed the turtle to be slow, stupid, and incapable that she forgot..." he let the words hang, his lips brushing against my skin as he planted a cold kiss on my cheek, "That a turtle is a reptile after all." I trembled, my body frozen as his words sank in. My thoughts raced, searching for a way out of this, a way to break free, but I felt trapped, paralyzed by the weight of his presence. "When the hare reached the end of the race, she didn't realize she ended up in an ambush!" His tone turned even colder as he circled around the claw marks he had left before "Snap, snap! And..." He backed off and hissed, "She was gone!" He reached close to my ear again."In this little tale, *you* are the hare," he hissed, his tone sharpening like a blade. His hand shot forward, fingers curling around my throat in a vice-like grip. I gasped, choking as his grip tightened, the pressure building until

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   One Step Forward

His hands found my shoulders, his grip firm but gentle, grounding me when everything else felt uncertain. He smiled, and though his expression was warm, there was a flicker of something deeper—something raw—just beneath the surface. "I promise, we’ll get through this together," he said. His voice wavered ever so slightly, and that’s when I noticed the tears brimming in his eyes. They didn’t fall, nor did he swallow them down. Instead, they lingered there, a testament to the pain he was carrying but refusing to let loose. And then, he reached for my hand. His fingers tangled with mine, and I couldn’t help but stare at the connection. The warmth of his touch spread through me, grounding and disarming all at once. I looked up at him, my gaze searching his face. What was it that gave him this strength? Was it love—the kind I had never fully given him? Or was it the pain I had inflicted upon him, a wound I had carved into him without realizing the depth of it? Whatever it was, I wished I h

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   His broken soul

“You’re not mad at me?” I asked, my voice breathless as we circled each other. He smirked, his movements relaxed yet calculating. “Why would I be mad at you?”I didn’t have time to answer before he tossed the stick aside, advancing with a confidence that was almost unnerving. His next punch came faster, but I caught it, twisting his arm just enough to make him wince.“It’s not the first time I’ve been turned down by someone I cared about,” he said, his voice softer now, carrying a weight that hadn’t been there before. He forced a smile, but it didn’t reach his eyes.I paused, lowering my arms. “You’ve… been in love before?”He shook his head, a bitter laugh escaping his lips. “It’s not about falling in love,” he said, his tone laced with disappointment. “It’s about ever loving someone—whether it’s your dad, your mom...” He trailed off, reaching for his water bottle. Taking a slow sip, he added, “...or anyone you’ve ever been close to.”I didn’t know how to respond, the sudden vulnerab

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   A Clear Warning

I narrowed my eyes, gritting my teeth as defiance surged within me. "Or what?" I spat, raising my chin in challenge.A sinister smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and with deliberate slowness, he raised the blade in his hand. The cold steel kissed my temple, trailing down the side of my face with maddening gentleness, before resting lightly against the curve of my neck. His voice dropped to a venomous whisper, so close that every word felt like a dagger slicing into me. "Just know this—I am not merciful. I won’t let you go." His smile deepened, twisting into something darker. "But I won’t kill you either, though I will make you beg for them both!"The blade pressed just enough to send a warning shiver through my body, though it only broke my skin a little bit."One by one," he continued, his words soaked in malice, "I will wipe out every last one of your friends. And I will make sure you watch them suffer, helpless and broken. I’ll burn every tree under which you seek shelter. I
