Nothing can keep us apart

“Your mum is going to be so mad at me that you got hurt.” Hayden sighed and she smiled.

“It's fine, I will come up with an excuse.” She said and wiped his tears with her thumb.

“Cute boys don't cry.” She said and he chuckled.

He stopped crying and smiled at her, they both sat close to the river and Ashley smiled.

They both played with each other till it was dusk and they decided it was time to go home.

They both headed home and Ashley trailed behind them, they got close to Ashley’s house and they stopped.

“Am sorry I can't walk you home, am kind of scared of your dad.” He said and chuckled nervously.

“It's fine I understand.” She replied and he hugged her.

“I miss you already.” He whispered and she giggled.

“I miss you too.”

“Am I going to see you tomorrow?” He asked as he pulled away from the hug and she nodded.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, my dad will be visiting some relatives out of town tomorrow so we will have plenty of time for ourselves.”

“That's great, goodnight Ashley.”
