32. A diamond set

Alessandro eyed me, keeping quiet. That was what I was the most curious about because he hadn't given me any explanations when he demanded I take off my necklace. My first gold necklace.

I was mad, but I figured Alessandro had a good reason for it. He wasn't that petty to take it just because he felt like and now I was curious to know why.

"You said you'd do whatever I asked." I accused him when he still didn't speak.

Alessandro sighed, rubbing a hand across his beautiful face. He was in his usual suit — which contrasted greatly with my casual outfit — but somehow, he looked more handsome today. He'd braided his hair and he put the braids in a short ponytail. The hairstyle accentuated his face and the ring on his ear only added to his beauty.

I shouldn't be calling a man beautiful, but damn, this man made all things possible.

'Focus, Jordan!'

"Alessandro!" I whined. I had a feeling he was going to ignore this one and that wasn't part of the plan.
