Hazel's POV

“Full protection?” I repeated and he nodded his head.

To go back to the pack where I'd been once humiliated was a very hard decision to make, but then, my kids' safety comes first.

“I would accept on one condition. I complete my role as the female lead in Anne’s project and I also get some money in name in case you decide to change your mind and chase me out of your life. Also I can't stop my career because of you," I listed out the things he needed to know.

“Fine, as long as my pups are in the pack then no issue,” he accepted.

“Your words aren’t enough, Liam. we need a legal document to bind it cause I don’t trust you one bit,” I gritted out. Liam exhaled sharply and muttered a low okay.

“Is that all?” he inquired.

“No, there is still a long list, along the line I would let you know them,” I responded and walked out of the room. At least it was good for a start, ensuring my safety and that of the kids.

  • Divorce But Stronger Chasing My Ex-wife Back   Chapter 119

Hazel's POV I honestly don't like how things have been happening in the pack. When I visited the women they looked so awful, no matter what their mate said to them it wasn't enough.“I lost my womb! I can't give you a child,” one of them women, Terrain said to her mate with tears strolling down her face. I knew right there, that moment that no amount of words I would say would comfort her.It would be hypocritical if I should tell her that all would be well and that Selene may hear her cries. What exactly would I say to these women?I had been torn, ashamed of my leadership skills. Those voices in my head were loud enough, stating I wasn't good enough and would never be good enough.Words got stuck in my tongue?“Ouch!” I yelped, jerking my hands from the electric kettle. I hissed, shaking my hands because of the pain I felt, I dipped my hands into the water to ease it.“Hey, are you okay?” Liam asked, rushing over to my side. I nodded my head absentmindedly, drawing my hands out of

Hazel's POV ‘Skies!’ Lyra said in my head as we stepped out of the house. Dominic said he would help with the kids while Liam and I could go do our respective duties.Liam barely slept yesterday… So do I!It was hard for me to sleep knowing there were women in the healers' wing, unsure of whether the pain reliever would help. Liam tried to make me sleep, but I told him to leave me be.He didn't do what I asked of him, and he stayed awake trying to make me sleep, and I did eventually, but just for three hours. A nightmare woke me up, and that was enough to keep me awake till daybreak. Liam was in his study room. I didn't want to disturb him, so I dropped a coffee on his table.“Elara?” One of my brows arched when I saw her coming closer to where I stood.“What? Shocked that I am out here to help my Luna,” She sent me a warm smile.“Of course, I am supposed to be resting. I can handle this on my own,” I said, trying to make him change her mind. But she had that adamant look on.“Stop a

Hazel's POV Screams of agony pierced through my ears as soon as I left Elara’s room. My heart leaped up as I rushed towards where the scream was coming from. People gathered around two women, blood trickling down their laps. Their faces were contorted with pain, the healers came to their rescue, trying to know why they were in so much pain. Two men tried to lift them up, but a sharp pain caused them to scream louder. I stood still, unsure of what to do,.I was feeling every bit of their pain, not because of the pack link, but because I could do it. I knew how painful childbirth is and this was far worse than any child birth.I rushed forward, people moved aside as I went closer to one of the females. The healer in charge of her was telling her to breathe. “Hold my hands,” I said to her,she looked at me. Eyes half opened as she nodded her head, taking my hands and squeezing it tightly.“Now, do what the healer says. Take a deep breath, slow and steady,” I said, practicing what the nu
