" I could drop you off at your place to repay the favor," Sydney offered as she and Gabriel headed towards her car.

Logan stood beside the Mercedes awaiting Sydney. She didn't want to ask Terry to bring her car, so, Gavin wouldn't know about her arrival.

At least she'd have the benefit of seeing the look on his face when she arrived.

If he cared.

" Don't fuss; I've got to be somewhere before heading home."

" The journey back here was quite hectic; you need to rest, Gabriel." Sydney expressed.

A smile spread across Gabriel's lips. " Are you worried about me?"

Sydney shrugged nonchalantly, " Yes, and so? You've done a lot for me, you didn't even get to sleep last night, yet you flew us back."

They stayed in the park for quite a long after that, Gabriel had to leave to check if the jet was fit for flying. When he returned, he told her to get ready to leave.

" Mrs. Reed." Logan acknowledged with a nod as he handed Sydney her keys.
