I open my eyes slowly. The familiar ceiling, familiar beeping sound and familiar smell of medicine contributed to my anger.

I am in the clinic.

I bring my knees up, moving away from him.

I am looking anywhere but him.

God I wish I can just disappear from here with my daughter.

I don't want to be around him.
