Chapter 83: Drake POV

The morning of the funeral, we wake early before dawn, and dress in full black before heading to the castle. The horses are due to leave from the castle at 9am to walk a full circuit around the main streets and then finally come back to the castle. It's the same route that Lilli's casket took and as with her funeral all the people are out with flowers to throw on top. Queen Amalla always preferred roses, so roses of all colours cover her and its uniquely beautiful.
