Patrick’s POV

I didn't want to get out of bed. Lexie seemed insatiable! But it was Monday and work was waiting for us. She was especially bold this morning - the way she handled her brother, the way she touched me and showed me paradise itself. It was all as if she were spicing things up. I loved seeing her confident and in charge, taking control and making me hers, doing whatever she wanted with me.

But then something kept hammering in my head. The way she looked into my eyes, as if searching for answers, and then how she said maybe her spell was actually working, with such certainty, as if she knew things even I didn't know about the feelings I couldn't understand in myself.

"My sweet, should we have lunch with our families today?" I asked as we entered the office elevator.

"I think we need to," she sighed.

"If you don't want to go to my place, I can arrange to meet them at some restaurant around here. I'll say we have too much work," I suggested because I didn't want her to feel unc
